Marina Zanchi became Director of the Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) on 16 February 2022. She joined the European Commission in 1992, and has served as Head of Unit in a variety of posts in the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, working on issues including administration and finance, audit and the delegation of Research and Innovation Programmes to the Executive Agencies and Joint Undertakings and in the Directorate-General for Informatics working in the field of human resources.

Before joining HaDEA, Ms Zanchi was the Head of the ‘Future Society’ Department in the European Research Executive Agency. Prior to the Commission, Ms Zanchi worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and for the International Atomic Energy Agency.
